Your Pet's Rescue Story
Marley was not rescued from a shelter. Rather, he was rehomed to me from a relative who had moved and could not keep him. He came to live with me in December 2018. I agreed to take him, but already had international travel plans booked and was leaving in a few days. I was so excited to welcome a pet back into my life, especially since my cat had passed away several months prior. Before leaving for my trip, I made sure I had all the supplies necessary to welcome Marley to my home. I went on my trip, returning to Miami in the evening several days later. My sister and I got up very early the next morning, drove home to Orlando, and straightaway went to get Marley and bring him home. Since then Marley has been by my side. He greets me at the door when I come home and makes sure I get my exercise with our twice daily walks. During the pandemic lock down, these walks were often the only time I left the house. He is a good travel companion, regularly going to Kissimmee to visit his grandpaw, and Atlanta to visit his aunt. He has brought much joy and love to my life.
