Sammy and his brother Duke were unintentionally bred on a farm in OK. Their siblings were all adopted by hunting homes, but Sammy and Duke were gun shy, so no one wanted them. They spent their days on the farm hanging out with the cows. When the farmer sold all his cows, Sammy & Duke started to wander and the neighbor threatened to shoot them, so the farmer came to rescue for help. Unfortunately, Sammy's outside life left him prey to the mosquitos and he ended up with heartworms. Once Sammy got to his foster home, he was treated for those nasty worms and started feeling great and letting out his spunky side. Sammy's new forever family drove all the way from Maryland to Michigan to meet him and bring him home with them. He now has beautiful twin girl human sisters and a wonderful setter sister named Bella. He lives in a wonderful home on the lake where he loves riding on his boat and swimming in the bay with his sisters. After a fun day on the water, he loves to snuggle up with the girls and take a nap.
