My Pet's Story
My husband and I adopted Kassie in June of 2009 from APR in Fort Lauderdale. We knew from the moment we met her that she was going to be with us forever. Kassie is now 13 years old, and although old and battling cancer, she is our little fighter. Kassie enjoys playing and running on the grass. She loves meeting new friends, and she is very much an explorer. Although we don't have much grass here on the North Slope, Kassie has adjusted really well since our recent move to Barrow Alaska. She is still playing and running in the snow...It is Kassie's world!!

Update on our Little Kassie:

On Tuesday, July 11th Kassie lost her battle with Anal Gland Cancer. She left us, and we believe she is playing, eating, and being an explorer with her new friends and family in doggy heaven.

We love and miss you very much our little Kassie!
