My Pet's Story
We adopted Recon from APR in January 2014 after our senior, black cat passed away. I was looking for another senior, black cat. My husband picked out Recon because he was sitting quietly in the corner. When we asked the shelter staff about Recon, no one seemed to know anything about him! It was as though he had slipped into the shelter undetected and lived there under the radar. This is how Recon got his name- we figured he had been on a reconnaissance mission at the shelter and decided to stay long enough for us to find him!
