My Pet's Story
We visited APR in October 2015 to rescue a cat lieu of birthday presents, and were introduced to Chrysanthemum. Chrysanthemum spent the majority of her life at the shelter and had to be separated from the other cats because they bullied her. She was scabby, crusty, and flaky from a food allergy and was so reserved that we weren't sure she had a personality. It took about a year before her personality (and fur!) started to shine. Now, Chrysanthemum is the sweetest, funniest little girl (especially because, with almost no teeth, her tongue hangs out)! She loves to zoom around the carpet and then scratch, scratch, scratch her scratching post. She also loves to groom our hair, and has an almost silent "mew".
