My Pet's Story
We had lost our little Mika dog for about 6 months. They had a bunch of rescues at the War Memorial about 6 years ago. We decided to go up there and just look. You know how that goes. we went over to Animal Aid Rescue booth. My daughter, Olivia, who was 4 years old at the time, saw him in the very back with two other dogs who were barking. Patch was named Spirit at the time. He was just sitting there quiet. My daughter walked back there and put her hand by the pen and he walked over and licked her hand. She looked at me very serious and said "Mommy, he is the one". I said let's look at all the doggies to make sure he is definitely the one and we did. She loved them all, but she said again "They are all cute, but he is the one". We brought him home and the rest is history. He is the sweetest, loving adorable little dog. Our Patch Spirit Bishop is now an emotional support dog and is loved by everyone he meets. Even when we walk down the street, there are some dogs who are funny with other dogs, they are usually fine with Patch. He is our little angel dog. We love him!!!
