My Pet's Story
Chloe and her brother Brady were rescued by APR in 2005. There were a lot of storms that summer and a volunteer (Barb) had brought the kittens to her mom's house for safety. Her mom was my next door neighbor. It was just a little peek at them and I knew it was meant to be. I chose those names from Days of our Lives. Lol. The name Chloe fits her as she can be a drama queen! But, Chloe has been such a joy and I'm so glad to have her in my life. I seriously think she talks to me and I understand her. She loves attention, especially from her daddy. She's more of an independent girl with the other kitties. She has 4 others that can annoy her. But she handles it beautifully. Most times you would find Chloe napping on the couch in front of the TV. That's where the picture was taken. She enjoys going outside on the enclosed patio to take in the sun, and watch the squirrels, birds, and especially lizards. Believe it or not, but her favorite toy is a shoe string. She will carry it around in her mouth, meowing and making biscuits on the couch at the same time. It's so funny! When it comes to food, Chloe can be picky. Right now, she is on a specialized diet of hydrolized protein. But she loves human food like chicken, cheese and chips. She can only have that in moderation. Chloe is such a part of our lives and at 12 years old I can only hope and pray she has many more with us.
