My Pet's Story
Tucker and a few other kitties were found in a community in Boca Raton in August 2015. The community was kind enough to pay for neutering/spaying these cats but didn't want them to stay in the community. Adopters were found for the two girls immediately. Tucker and his brother were left. I said I'd take both, but they found an adopter for the other boy. So, we picked up Tucker only at the community where one of the residents had been feeding them. We purchased a carrier on the way and picked him up off the lawn and took him home. He never meowed at all. We kept him separated from our other kitties for a week until he was seen by our vet. And he was slowly integrated. Tucker was named for the nursery rhyme Little Tommy Tucker who sang for his supper. He meows constantly when awaiting his food to be served. He is a big boy but is the most loving kitty. Sometimes I think I should change his name to Velcro, because if I'm sitting or lying down, he has to be touching me! Tucker is a pretty good eater. He loves his wet food but sometimes tries to eat too fast. He is a very social kitty, loving his humans and kitty siblings. He always wants to either play or get petted. His favorite toy is any toy! If not attached to his mommy, Tucker can be found chasing or playing with his brother and sister. When he's with his mommy, he's a calming influence. I'm so happy to have this special boy in my life.
