My Pet's Story
My husband and I rescued Rosie from Abandoned Pet Rescue on April 1, 2020. I had lost my beagle, Tornado, on February 21, 2020. When we went to the shelter, we were only there to donate some of Torey's old things to dogs that could use them. It happened to be the day after Rosie's former owner had left her there. Rosie looked so sad. She looked in my eyes and I knew we could help heal each other. She lost a human, I lost a dog, and together we could find our smiles again. Rosie is quite the character, constantly trying to stand on her head, she wears the silly things I put on her and imitates our cats. She has turned our world and our house totally upside down in the best way imaginable and life without her would be so dull. She is wearing rainbow wings as a reminder that love is precious...and while you can not buy love, you can absolutely rescue it!
