My Pet's Story
I was matched with Nikki (formerly Nakia) at Abandoned Pet Rescue on June 8th 2020, and took her home June 15th. I was told she had been living there since she was a kitten. This would be her first ever home. She was timid and quiet the first week while she started to get comfortable, and mostly stayed under my bed in the strawberry box she brought with her from the shelter. Quickly she burst out of her shell and has since become the most wonderful partner in life, and enjoys being the queen of her house. I can't imagine life without her.
