My Pet's Story
Koi and Kai(kai will have his own photo) Were originally Sammy and Dean, 2 nine month old brothers. I had just lost both of my cats right before the pandemic started. My vet suggested Abandoned Pet Rescue. I went with no particular expectations but Cheryl insisted that Sammy and Dean were the ones for me. And how right she was. Koi is white with golden orange spots that remind me of a koi fish which are very prized and valuable in Japan. And so he is to me. Unlike his brother, Koi is shy But extraordinarily sweet and very big. He has these enormous paws Which he uses to bat around the window blind strings. He is my gentle giant . To say the boys love each other is an understatement. They run around all the time and when they’re exhausted they lie on the bed with me and typically clean each other. I can’t imagine life without them.
