My Pet's Story
Jackson was about 6 months old when I adopted him from a pet adoption center nearly 8 years ago. This came after months of searching for the right match. I found him one day when I was leaving the shelter empty handed again, until I spotted him out of the corner of my eye and instantly knew that was my boy! I stopped in my tracks and said instantly without a 2nd thought or hesitation, please get him out of the cage, that's my dog! He's been with me ever since and we are the perfect match for each other and really connected. His DNA test came back with him being mostly German Wire Hair Pointer mixed with Islandic Sheep Dog and Jack Russel Terrier. He is a rare breed and is my perfect boy! He only barks to alert me that someone is at the door or when he thinks there is danger! He love going for walks, running in the yard, eating, chasing birds, well, anything that flies really. He is incredibly smart and sensitive. The other day he found a baby duck that didn't survive, and to my amazement, he dug a hole in the yard so it could be buried. A few years ago, I was going through some really tough times, and his love saved my life...he was my reason for living and I am so grateful for him and to him.
