My Pet's Story
We adopted Nana from APR in February 2021. She was found as a stray and had terminal cancer. We made it our mission to ensure she knew what is was like to feel safe, loved and genuinely cared for before leaving this world. She loved snuggling on the couch, going for short walks and keeping her fur-siblings in line. She passed away in our arms just 2 short months after adopting her, but the impact she made on our lives was monumental. We miss her sweet face and her kind, gentle demeanor every day and will never forget her. Rest easy, Nana.
