My Pet's Story
I had been wanting to adopt a dog for a while after moving to FL for work and feeling a little lonely, but I was waiting for the right sign. APR set up a meet-n-greet right outside my house! I filled out my adoption form and waited for the call. Fonzo (at the time “Benny”) was the second dog I met. I knew right away we were supposed to enjoy life together. I changed his name so together we could make “Al-Fonzo” and the rest is history! We worked hard to build a bond, trust and respect with A LOT of love. We like to go for long walks to see our iguana friends, travel to New England to visit family and eat late night snacks together while we cuddle. Our relationship is the true definition of “who saved who” and I could not imagine my life without Fonzo. I’d like to think he feels the same way. We are each other’s safe space and I can’t wait to create more beautiful life memories together.
