My Pet's Story
We adopted Shug (redish) & Loki (whitish) in 2020. They are bonded siblings and we were so thrilled that Abandoned Pet Rescue was determined to keep them together. They had a long stay at APR, while the staff helped them both get in better health. Especially Loki, he was a mess! Although Loki still had health issues when we first met them, we knew it was best to adopt them as quickly possible. Get them out into the world and in our home vs. the stress of being caged so much and around so many other dogs in distress. We absolutely fell in love with them at first site. Knowing we would be home a lot during lockdown, it was a perfect time show them what a forever home with unconditional love was all about! We can "gush" on and on about how sweet, loving, cuddly, playful, chill, wild, savage (when they play together) Shug & Loki are! These 2 love a good howling contest, especially Loki!

Needless to say, Shug & Loki saved us as much as we saved them!

This photo is from the first time we did a test run at a doggie day care in case of emergencies & travel. We had never brought them around other dogs. They did surprisingly well & loved it!!
