My Pet's Story
Scarlett spent a long time in foster care, waiting for someone to take a chance on her. As an older, timid cat, she was overlooked by a lot of potential adopters. We were looking for an older kitty, and as soon as we saw her picture on the Abandoned Pet Rescue website, we knew she was the one for us. Since joining our family several months ago, she has brought us so much joy. She's smart and silly and so playful. Scarlett loves chin scratches and belly rubs, watching the birds out the window, cuddling her brother, Buddy, but most of all, Scarlett loves to play. The moment we pick up her fishing pole, she comes running. You'd never know she was almost 8 years old, the way she leaps in the air, dives off the couch, and zooms back and forth with that toy. We're so grateful to her foster mom, Cheryl, for all the love and care she gave to Scarlett, and we're grateful to APR for all they do. We sure do love our beautiful girl.
