My Pet's Story
Two years ago we saw Gizmo on abandoned Pet Rescue’s Facebook page. as Soon as I saw that face I knew we needed him my husband had just had a stroke and I want to Gizmo to keep him company and to give him his best life. We were thrilled that we were chosen to be Gizmo’s father’s , after a few days we realize that he did have some trust issues and he was a bit of a biter. We gave him all the love And patience he deserved and we hired a trainer To teach us exactly what we need to know to make him feel safe and loved .. we worked very hard with him and we are so lucky to have him he is living his best life ever he is the boss of the house and he knows that he is adorable every night at 5 PM he barks at me to take him for a car ride and of course I do it. My husband has fully recovered from his stroke and Gizmo is by his side day and night.Before we rescued him I would always bring donations to abandoned pet rescue and I have actually brought friends there to adopt pets! We still can’t believe how lucky we are to have this beautiful special dog to call our own
We firmly believe he was meant to be ours if somebody else took him home with his biting issue they might have returned him we would never ever have done that! We believed in him and he pays us back every day with the love he gives us.
