My Pet's Story
Several folks have commented on their eyes, especially Sylvester's squint. Story time...on the day we were supposed to pick up the kitties, the shelter called us to inform us that Sylvester had Eyelid Agenesis, a serious birth defect that might require eye surgery later. Politely, they asked us if we still wanted him. (Yes, tears were shed). John immediately said, "Ohana means family, family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten". We don't know what the future holds for any of our fur babies, but we did not hesitate to move forward with the adoption and he has been an absolute joy, seeing the world through imperfect eyes.
