My Pet's Story
Walking Ali late one night, she became insistent on crossing the street to a fire hydrant on the corner. There cowering in the shadow was a small, wiry-haired dog. Her leash had been looped over the top of the hydrant, and it quickly became apparent she had been abandoned there. She did not make a sound, and seemed calm, but was probably just very frightened. Home with us she came, and after a much needed bath, and something to eat, she quickly fell asleep. Lola has been with us for just about 5 years....she is one of our tiniest fur-babies (including cats), but she has the personality of a giant and thinks she is in charge of the world. She loves, loves, loves to play ball and go for car rides, be by your side every step of the way, give sweet kisses, and snuggle up close for the night. We are so grateful for our sweet Lola!
