My Pet's Story
Sweet Peggy is a rescue from APR. Like a lot of rescues, she had a rough start, and is slightly handicapped due to radial nerve damage to her right front paw. When she first came home with us about two years ago, she was very shy and greatly intimidated by our somewhat large fur-family. It has taken Peggy a while to come out of her shell, but she now makes day-long appearances, comes running (or sliding) when it time to eat, and loves to cuddle with her sister Eileen. She has also become quite adept at giving kitty kisses and head bumps to let you know she loves you, and her absolute favorite place to be is on your lap while you are working on the computer. We are so grateful she is a part of our family - thank you APR for our very special girl!
