Pet's Story or Bio
I adopted Ruger in February 2023 from the Aberdeen Area Humane Society. He’s the softest dog ever. He has a thick coat but is not a fan of brushing. His favorite pastime is going on walks in the tall grass. The taller the grass the better, however, cockleburs love him and they attach to him like velcro. He also loves when I go on bike rides with him. I have a pole that sticks out from under the seat to the side and it has a short leash attached. I made the mistake of adding on to the leash so he could run further. Big mistake, he saw a squirrel or rabbit and I ended up crashing and it was on a 3 wheel bike. I healed up and we still bike. Ruger could care less about toys and at home he’s content just sitting by my side getting scratches. He’s such a joy and I’m blessed to have him, thank you AAHS.
