Share your setter’s story and why he/she should be our next Cover Star!
This is our Duke just daring those birds to come back! He can hold that position for over ten minutes without moving a muscle! Duke came into our home from Above and Beyond last August, one week after Petie came to us also from A and B. Duke had many challenges ahead of him after living in a concrete kennel for his five years. He did not know how to go up and down stairs! During puppy school, which he and Petie (both about five) were the oldest graduates, we realized he could not hear well at all. Lucky for us, he is very food motivated!! The biggest thing we've earned from Duke is his trust. In just ten months, he has come so far. He now walks very well on a leash, stays with me wherever I am, and we trust him not to hurt the children just as he knows we will not hurt him. And from all the love he's gotten, his fur has filled in beautifully! Thank you, Above and Beyond for giving us these two wonderful pets!
