Share your setter’s story and why he/she should be our next Cover Star!
Our beautiful Sir Lancelot came to us from A&B ESR this past March. We loved his name instantly and felt it suited his noble appearance perfectly! This brave boy was found as a stray with BB shot in him and with the tip of his tail broken in two places. Lancelot was fortunate to have been sent to a wonderful and caring foster family who nursed him through his long and risky heartworm treatments. I am blessed to have had what I'm told is a rare opportunity--meeting his foster mom in person despite the crazy distance between our homes in IA and NC. I was touched by how difficult it was for her to turn Lancie over to me, and we still keep in touch regularly (as a matter of fact I sought her input on which picture to submit to this awesome calendar). Recently Lancie got a foster brother from another ES rescue, and we have just announced to them our inevitable failure at fostering a beautiful tri color boy--he will become a permanent part of our family very soon, and we promise you will see them together in our picture next year!!)

While I hope you will make this fur mom proud and send some votes Lancelot's way, all if these dogs are so deserving and special. What an honor it is to be part of this incredible rescue organization and all the people who help these dogs find loving homes!!
