Hank was 5 hours away in the FingerLakea region of New York waiting for his forever mom to pick him up. It was a wet slushy snowy day and I had a 5 hour drive ahead to get Hank. He looked a lot like my first setter rescue- had that same indrawn look of coming from a rough background, and a humble appearance. When I arrived I was greeted with a full standing hug by Hank. That's all it took for the deep bond of caring for and loving our boy. Although he has some quirks from the past it has been a joy to watch his personality unfold. hank Roos, gives daily hugs and soft earnest kisses . He has earned free roam of the farm and loves to roll in the hay fields and point birds, bats, and bees. We sure love you gentle sweet Hanky Boy!
