A little about me...
Hank is an ABESR graduate of the class of 2020.
He was probably abandoned on a hunting trip and fortunately for me ended up being fostered in my home. I failed at that quickly and he was adopted.
He has an easy going attitude and loves meeting people, especially kids. Birds too!
This photo was taken just as he was at the end of recovering from heartworm treatment. As you can see he love the outdoors.
At first Hank was nervous and significantly under weight. With patience and time, he has found his confidence and now he is a healthy happy dog.
His social circle is always expanding. He happily introduces himself to deer in the backyard in the mornings and evenings. A regular weekly visit to a local coffee shop to meet his friends and most of all, the kids that visit. As for Home Depot, if you have an orange apron he will hunt you down and frisk you for at least 3 treats.
The latest trick Hank has learnt is hunting turtles. He finds them in the yard and picks them up to take them on multiple high speed circuits of the yard before triumphantly presenting them to me. Unharmed, but probably a little dazed, I relocate them over the fence.
I am sure that most English Setter owners will agree, we are so lucky to have them.
