Meet A&BESR's Willow! Willow is a sweet approximately 2 year old female pocket sized setter. Willow weighs about 35lbs and is cute as can be. You may have noticed Willow has a high fundraising goal. Lucky for Willow she was found by some really nice people in North Carolina, they took her in and contacted breed rescue about her. Once Willow was committed to A&BESR it was discovered that she is Lyme, Ehrliccia and Heartworm positive! On top of all that she also was reported to have whip and hook worms. Oh my goodness, that's a lot of issues for Willow to overcome. And....a lot of expense for the rescue. Willow's foster home is in Upstate New York and heartworm treatment is very expensive here. Willow is hoping to raise enough money with her cute picture, to cover some or all of her treatment, and in the process to win some really cool stuff for the family that adopts her!
