Share your setter’s story and why he/she should be our next Cover Star!
Callie was adopted from A & B as a 4.5 month old deaf puppy in 2010. She was found wandering along a roadside in Waco TX with her brother Wylie. Wylie and Callie were a bonded pair even as puppies so we adopted both. Callie "listens" by hand signals and amazingly is a better "watch" dog than my other 5 setters. Wylie always looks after his sister. If Callie is sleeping and doesn't hear its time to go out or time for a treat - brother Wylie always will go wake her up first. If Callie is up and about and cannot find brother Wylie - she runs through the house barking loudly. They love to stalk each other and "hunt" birds and butterflies on our 10 acres. One thing they both love to do is get dirty!
