Hi! My name is Java Joe. I've come to my "fur-ever" home in Simpsonville, SC via Beaufort, NC and Erie, PA (thanks Kristen!). I grew up kinda rough. I was living outdoors in a pen and got so sad that I lost some of my teeth when I tried to chew through the gate. When I met my rescuers at A &B, I was pretty sick with heart worms and whip worms. But, through everyone's patience and help, I've come back and am close to full health.

Since meeting my mom and dad, I've blended in great with my family. I love my little cat sister (Relli) and my big dog sister (Rosie). I'm quite the snuggler. When Relli is sleeping in bed, I'll quietly crawl up to her and curl up right next to her. I'm so grateful for the new chance at life that I've gotten that I don't let a moment go by where I might miss out on family activities. I'm a huge helper in the kitchen and even supervise my mom when she vacuums. I'd like to be your cover dog to encourage other rescues out there and to show those who have helped me how far I've come!
