Share your setter’s story and why he/she should be our next Cover Star!
Smokey came to me in Alabama from a shelter in Utah via a wonderful foster mom in Nevada who drove 3400 miles round trip to bring him to me (she is my hero). It turns out that his registration papers were turned in with him at the shelter! He is a full blooded Dashing Bondhu Llewellin English Setter whose great-great grandfather was "Hank" from the OLN hunting TV show. And as you can see, he inherited every ounce of that athletic ability and hunting drive. But even more, he loves to sit in my lap and play with his new brother, Hoss. This dog has changed my life. He has overcome so much while retaining his love for life and others. I sure wish I could fly freely like he does. What a happy and noble soul. He would be honored to be featured on your cover to help other dogs just like him find that special forever family.
