The Wondrous Winston was rescued by Above and Beyond English Setter Rescue abused and neglected, and has nothing short of an amazing journey. From adventures of unsupervised sight seeing to wondering the Nevada desert for a few days solo. He was making his LONG cross country journey but a turn took for the worse and Winston and his new mom were in a sever rollover in NV and Winston was no were to be found! The most incredible heartwarming story happened next; all of Winnemucca and surrounding areas searched for days and Winston was found safe. Do to the accident Winston was given back up for adoption and that is when my husband and I knew we had just saw a picture of a Wondrous dog that needed to complete our home. God made him a little extra special to love as Winston is deaf, and he is nothing short of an amazing handsome gentleman. He makes new friends every where, our adventures take us and sends Setter kisses to everyone. Winston is the most happy and gentle soul a person would ever meet. Winston has brought more joy to our family then we could have imagined as we are coming up on our 2 yr “Happy Gotcha Day”. Being the bird dog he is he loves birds and enjoys evening hikes, swimming. Most of all he wants to be with family receiving cuddles. Winston has touched the hearts of many, making many different nicknames along the way but one thing everyone can agree on is he is a blessing. He continues to amaze everyone with multiple hand signals and defying odds; he is AKC Canine Good Citizen Certified. The Wondrous Winston is a true example that happy endings exist. Winston and I want to give back to Above and Beyond English Setter Rescue and give more Setters a happy ending too!
