Autumn Cigar or Cig as he is known is a pass- a- long. The breeder/field dog trainer did not want him. Passed him along
with three liter mates to a hunting buddy of mine, My friend
gave me the choice if one of the males and kept the other three.
Cig is a well mannered companion as well as an excellent
hunting dog. I had the opportunity later to ask the breeder why he did not want
Cig. His answer was, now get this, his tail is too short and he will
never run big or fast enough to be a field trial winner. Guess what,
he holds his tail high, points with his nose and has the perfect
hunting gun dog range.
