Dear senior boy Ossa came into rescue emaciated and with health issues. He was always the sweetest gentleman and one of the sweetest setters his foster mom had met in her 13 years of fostering. During his stay with his foster mom it was discovered he was in the initial stages of renal failure and given a 6 month prognosis. One Sunday, his foster mom was going to let the rescue know she would adopt him. However, fate stepped in and a wonderful family in NJ applied to adopt Ossa as their forever boy! Ossa went to a very loving home where he had a bucket list of adventures fulfilled and home life beyond the stars. Charming all he encountered along the way, Ossa continued to be a sweet gentleman to the end. Ossa outlived his 6 month prognosis by 1 1/2 years. He was beloved to the end by his family, his tribe of Ossa followers and his foster mom.
