Just chilling at my mom's garden club meeting! Manto is a Greek rescue from ABESR who came to live with us March 2019. Her mom takes her everywhere, so she can learn about life and people in the U. S. She will take her therapy dog test next fall, and will visit people in hospice and possibly become a 'reading dog' for children. She's a true gift from heaven! Her mom thanks Helen in Greece for giving her a loving home and teaching her to trust people again, after having been dumped on a beach. Her mom also thanks ABESR for making the connection between us and transporting her a very long distance! Manto is a show stopper here; people tell her how 'pretty' she is and I don't think she ever gets tired of hearing it!
