Luna Belle was my 2nd foster ever for A&B. She came to me from MS. It was clear when I got her that she had been abused. She was terrified of people - wouldn't come out of her crate for days (I had to tip it over and dump her out), and she hit the ground and wet herself every time you stepped or reached toward her. It took almost 6 months for her to trust me, and a lot longer for her to trust others. now, almost 6 years later, she runs to me and buries her head in my chest. She snuggles on my lap and cuddles herself close to me. She looks to me for comfort and safety whenever there are storms, fireworks or when the neighbors shoot off their guns. She is sweet, silly and beautiful. I never planned to adopt her... but how could I ever let her go.
