A little about me...
Mellie is the sweetest and most beautiful English Setter that we have ever owned. Even when she is digging a massive bunker in my garden, and covered with dirt, she is stunning! When she came to live with us last December, she was very timid, and hid under our bed for 2 months. We weren't sure we had even had a new dog. With patience and kindness, this dog has transformed into such an amazing girl. Mellie has a special talent, removing squeakers from toys in seconds! She is a hunter of bugs, birds, chipmunks and squirrels, and where we live she will never run out of them.... She runs like a maniac and can stop on a dime! Mellie's agility is nothing short of amazing! We have witnessed 360 degree in the air spins, as well as a few back flips. This girl is extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle with my husband and I. Mellie never misses an opportunity to snarf toast. She adores her stuffed toys and our day is spent playing with her, and walking her outside. She has easily manipulated the neighbors into providing treats for her, and has brought so much joy and companionship to our family and our neighborhood. Rainbow Lake is the perfect place for Mellie to live, because her favorite activity in the entire world is to roll in the snow, and we have a very LONG winter season. We are so blessed to have her in our lives.
