A little about me...
BeBe is an ABESR alumni. I agreed to foster her in December 2020 when her owner passed away. She was a hunting dog, living with her pack in a barn. She had obviously been bred. At 13 years old, she came to me underweight, with a 3" tumor hanging from her back left leg. She needed to be spayed, so I asked the vet to remove the tumor while he was at it. He asked if there was anything else that needed done, so I examined her closely the night before and asked to have an irritated spot over her right eye removed, and also a growth in her cheek. It was the growth in her cheek that was the most serious issue - it's why she was so thin. It was very painful for her to eat. She has gained ten pounds and has blossomed into a wonderful companion, totally enjoying her new life with her two Irish Setter siblings... I am a total foster fail (and proud of it.)
