A little about me...
Our sweet little Hazel(nut). We first met her as a foster on July 10 of this year and she immediately stole our hearts. She came to us from Turkey with a wounded paw, sad face and super thin. Through the kind hearts of the volunteers of Above and Beyond she made her way to us in Virginia. She has endeared herself to everyone who has met her. She is patient and gave our older pup time and space - now they are used to each other and look for each other. Hazel can stare at one mockingbird or butterfly for up to 30 minutes without flinching. When she stands on her back legs to try and get them I am totally amazed. She snores like no dog I have ever owned. She is also the sloppiest drinker ever. She barks at the fireplace and makes us laugh on a daily basis with her antics. I cannot imagine our home without those silky ears and smiling face.
