A little about me...
Guinevere has quite a story.... She is originally from Turkey, and when she was first rescued, we didn't think she would survive. She was literally starved (barely more than a skeleton), and she was suffering from Distemper, which is often fatal. With 6 months of care from an amazing vet in Turkey, Gwennie pulled through and was healthy enough to catch the last flight to the USA - literally 2 days before the CDC ban took effect.

Now, a year after arriving in the USA, she is healthy, a perfect weight, and happily plays with her setter siblings while terrorizing the birds and small fuzzy critters in the yard. Her bought with Distemper has left her with permanent neurological tremors that cause her body to constantly twitch, and she has violent "night terrors" when she is sleeping. Despite all that, she is friendly and affectionate, and one of the most lovely setters you could ever meet. She is truly a model Survivor!

We did not need to add another dog to our family (we have many), but we don't think we can let her go!
