Your Pet's Story or BioI adopted Sunny (formerly Pearl) from Acadiana Animal Aid shortly after my dog passed away from cancer complications. I met Sunny at Petsmart and fell in love immediately. The assistant opened her kennel and Sunny extended her arms. When I took her out of the kennel, she hugged me and tears of joy started streaming down my face. I changed her name from Pearl to Sunny because she is such a sweet, happy girl. She loves to play with her toys, chase her new kitty siblings, and lay on top of her cat condo in our sunroom. Sunny has healed my broken heart and brought a new kind of sunshine to my life. I encourage everyone to adopt and support your local rescues! The best pets are rescued pets!
