Achilles was a rescue I adopted from PACC/ACCT. He is a very special boy but at the time I didn't realize just how special. He is an amazing athlete who competes in flyball, Frisbee, and dock diving. Achilles was voted as MVP in the North American Flyball Association. He has placed in Frisbee events including 1st place. He is currently ranked best of breed for the North American Diving Dogs and has an invite to Nationals to represent his breed. Achilles was diagnosed with cancer (TCC) of the prostate and given 6-9months to live in April 2015. He went through chemo, etc and responded well. Achilles continued to play sports and put up some of his best times/jumps. While the tumor is still there, its inoperable, Achilles has been in remission and continues to thrive. The doctors never had such an amazing outcome!! Achilles is a rescue to rock star!!
