Rules

Photo Submission Rules:

Each entry is a $10 tax deductible donation to Alachua County Humane Society.
Entrants should submit to a particular category: Best Group, Most Creative, and Cutest Photo.
You can only register one photo at a time. Should you want to enter your photo multiple times, they must be separate registrations. An example of this is entering your photo that you feel is applicable for every category.
Online is the only method of entry and will be available by visiting our contest website and following the directions provided to complete the entry information and submit. If you need assistance with submitting your photo, please do not hesitate to ask.
All pets are welcome. Pets do not have to be rescues in order to enter.
Photos should be high resolution and clear quality. This increases your chances of receiving votes!
When you submit your photos, you give Alachua County Humane Society and partnering organizations permission to use and reproduce the photo in whichever way we seem fit. This may include, but is not limited to, posting on all platforms, sending in emails, or using it to promote subsequent contests to come.
Color photos are recommended but should you recolor your photo to fit the theme of your entry that is acceptable.
Heavily edited and/or cropped photos that you do not have complete rights to will not be allowed.
All entries must be the original work of the entrant. You must own the copyright to the photograph.
We reserve the right to modify or clarify any of the contest rules during the term of the contest without advance notice.
Any photos that contain content deemed inappropriate or obscene as determined by our staff will be removed from the Fundraiser without warning or refund.
Entries will be taken up until October 29^th at 11:59 P.M (EST) to ensure there is enough time for all entrants to receive votes.

Voting Rules:

Votes are $1 each and can be cast via online only. If this is not a possibility – please contact danielle@alachuahumane.org.
Voters can vote as many times as they would like.
All donations for votes are non-refundable.
Winners will be those that receive the most votes in each category. In the rare event that there is a tie – we will open another round of voting.
All voting will begin when registration opens – October 1^st at 12:00 A.M. EST.
All voting will end on October 30^th at 11:59 P.M. EST
There is no limit on how many times you can vote. The more the merrier!
