Your Pet’s Story
Skye was headed for a kill shelter in Oklahoma when she was saved by Luvin' Paws Rescue and transported by bus up to New England with 30 other rescues. We bonded instantly and two years later she still cannot contain herself whenever I come home. Skye's favorite thing (besides her mom) is chasing seagulls in the waves at the beach.

Best Quality with an example or anecdote
Skye has only gone missing once, on a trail run, when her walker was tending to another dog and turned around to find her gone. Before he could even notify me, a friend called to say that Skye had shown up at her house across the street and down the road. She apparently decided she'd rather play with her friend! (Skye now wears a tracking collar.)
