A little about me...
The picture shown is at about at 5 months, but it's one of the best. This goober is now about 80lbs and just over a year old. A true gentle giant. You almost can't take a photo of him, without him looking directly into the camera, because he's always paying attention. I KNOW dogs, and this is one of the most attentive, intelligent, and truly incredible pups I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. It's felt a bit like a winning lottery ticket to have been able to bring this handsome gentleman into my life, and it speaks volumes about the wonders of pet adoption and the happiness it can bring. This guy learned all of the traditional commands within about the first three months, add to that knocking on the door when he needs to go out, and just recently has gotten close to mastering saying, "I love you" (it's basically three barks, but you know he gets it).

My last doggo lived for 19 (human) years. She was amazing too. I want this handsome S.O.B. to stay along my side for as long as mother nature will allow. There is almost no comparison to the fulfillment a dog can bring, and it's even better with rescues, because the level of gratitude is exponentially higher. I encourage everyone to open their hearts to the idea of adoption. You won't be disappointed.
