A little about me...
Gus has a long list of favorite things - fetch, sticks, fluffy toys, snacks, other dogs, and ice cubes to name a few. He’s ridiculously smart and likes to show off his tricks, including jumping to catch any ball you throw his way. He loves to bound about with his favorite humans, and as long as you’re willing to throw a ball and scratch his ears, you can be in friend club.

Despite disliking the rain, Gus loves the snow and the water. He’s bopped around beaches, national parks, campsites, learned to swim, and even explored Canada with his humans. Gus is at heart a city boy though - he loves doggie daycare, parks, and he knows the best corner stores in Cambridge, MA where they keep treats at the cash register.

He’s come a long way since Adopt-a-Stray found him terrified on the side of the road in Arkansas. These days, he lives a comfy life full of treats and toys and love. (All of which he happily shares with his foster brother Prince, who keeps him on his toes by chewing on his ears and chasing him around.)
