Your Pet's Story
Freya is a 5 year old German Shepherd mix who loves the Colorado outdoor life, but also loves to stay inside and relax with her humans. At 2 years old, she was diagnosed with Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI), which limits her body from absorbing the nutrients from the food she eats. Essentially, her body doesn’t produce an enzyme to break down her food so she can gain all the good benefits from that food. She is on medication and a special diet, but you’d never be able to tell that she had an autoimmune disease. She is the happiest and most goofy dog you will ever meet!
