Your Pet's Story
Kinji is a very chill kitty - when not engaged in zoomies with her sister Maki - and when relaxing, she gets into some pretty great poses. Kinji is 11 months old and her entire litter was rescued from Craig, CO. I adopted two "twin" sisters from the litter and was going to submit a picture of both kittens but found out I could only submit 1 animal per picture. And yes, Kinji has two ears, her right ear is tucked under in this photograph.

When we lost our amazing cat Kaiya to a chronic medical condition in July 2024 and our dog Esme of old age (14.5 years old) in Oct 2024, I was worried our 10-year old Avie kitty (an AFA alumni) would be very lonely and depressed. While Avie likes both sisters, Kinji has been very subtle and patient about winning her crabby older sister over. Maki is a more "in your face" kitty - our wild child. Maki and Kinji have been the "lights" of our lives since they came to live with us. They are endlessly entertaining and have given us great joy during some tough times! We love our little kitty family immensely; they join a long line of cats we have loved unconditionally over our lives.
