Your Pet's Story
Shura was adopted from Animal Friends Alliance in 2021 as a 3 year old who was surrendered by a hoarder. As an under socialized kitty, she spent multiple months at AFA working with a behaviorist before she found her home with me. It took her a while to get used to her new home, but she fell in love with my late resident cat, the timid younger kitty I adopted the day after I got her, and eventually me. She started off afraid of touch, but now Shura snuggles up to me every night. She loves every cat and person she meets, and is always excited to make new friends. A goofy girl, she loves to play with straws, used napkins, and her kitty siblings. She likes getting herself into tight spaces like drawers, suitcases, and the occasional box. Shura is the softest kitty I've ever pet, and she's always excited for some gentle pets and scratching.

In this picture, Shura noticed that my front door had blown open a little bit and was standing and watching it for about 5 minutes before I realized what she was looking at.
