Pet's Story or Bio
I'm Molly. I lived in a pen on a farm for six years when I flunked out of livestock guardian duties. But a kind lady who drove past the farm each day stopped and asked if she could find me a loving home. Finally, the farmer said 'Yes' and the lady took me home, housebroke me and taught me manners. But the lady had other dogs and cats and could not keep me so she turned me over to AGPR so that I could find a forever home. I was gentle, but very shy because I had never been socialized and many people did not want me. After several months a couple who had had a Pyr who died came along. I was so shy that I could not even look them in the eye. They almost did not adopt me but finally said they would try because they feared no one else might take me. When I got to my new home, I hid in the dining room and refused to eat in front of my new family. But I slowly adjusted and came to crave the affection they gave me. As you can see from my photo, if they don't pet me enough, I "paw" one of their legs until they stroke my head and give me extra hugs. Boy I am very lucky that AGPR found me a forever home!
