Pet's Story or Bio
Bailey Bug was found in a kill shelter in WV in late 2012. She was pulled by a volunteer of AGPR, who fostered her for a few weeks. When she'd learned all she could with those fine people, she decided to rescue Kennedy (Mr. February AGPR 2016 Calendar), and his human, Barbara Brandt. Within a week of arriving in Manassas VA where they lived, it was discovered she had extreme hip dysplasia. So she had an FHO to fix the worst of her two hips, and she began to mend. She came to rule the house, and all who encountered cowered at her beauty. She lost Kennedy in 2015, but shortly found Buster, and now they (including their human and their 2 cats) live a happily retired life on the coast of North Carolina.

Bailey is the sweetest most loving dog, especially with small dogs (she had a foster brother, Perry, a 16 year old miniature Schnauzer for almost 2 years). She only discovered her love for children when she moved to NC, and she maneuvers her way to them whenever she encounters them on her three walks a day.

She has a gentle kindness about her that restored her Mom after the loss of her beloved Kennedy. Surely Mom would have lost her mind then, if not for Bailey Bug. She is a big heart with fur.

And she is loved.
