Pet's Story or Bio
Aurora, our "Pyrenees Princess", came to our family when she was about 3 months old. The rescue organization told us she was saved through police activity --one of 3 "bait dog" puppies saved from a dog fighting operation. Her rescue foster mom exposed her to all sorts of interesting creatures e.g. goats, guinea hens, and so on. When she came to us, she was as cute as a button. But this puppy had a nickname that she well earned --"Terror Puppy". There wasn't a shoe, jacket, cookbook, or pillow that escaped her attention. After getting through those trying puppy times, she blossomed into the beautiful Pyrenees girl she is today. Aurora has walked the Washington DC capitol mall, has been all over visiting different sites, and greets everyone she meets with a big smile. In typical Pyr fashion, she does bark a lot to protect our home from crows, leaves, and airplanes. Another special thing about Aurora is that she likes to greet family members and people she really likes with "teethers". She picks up her top lip, smiles at you and shows you her "teethers". This is very cute. She loves kisses, hugs, and snacks. She even plays nicely with cats and her Pyr brothers and sisters. We are so glad she is part of our family.
